I hate the DC DMV more. I went to get my car registered in December--something like Dec. 22. I came home proud of my sticker and tags, only to find that their printer left the "1" off the month that the sticker expires. Instead of expiring in "12" 2005, it expires in "2" 2005. Two months!!! I called today to find that I have to physically go down there AGAIN (this will be trip #4) so that I can try to explain THEIR mistake. This sucks big time. I hate them.

I Despise the DMV of Louisiana. Today is Friday i was supposed to go get my liscense today to be ready for homecoming tommorrow. getting out of school at 2:30 and arriving at the DMV at 3:30 to fing out that their last appointments are scheduled at 3:00 even though they are open until 4:00. In addition to closing at 4:00, they are only open tuesday through friday. This makes it near impossible for anyone with a job or school to attend to obtain a liscense. Well It is a government organization, so we can expect them not to be around when they are needed.

I went to the DMV in California today to supposedly get my license back. It was suspended due to accumilation of points. Well I previously had corrective eye surgery so i had to get a special form filled out by a eye doctor. Then the guy that sold me this car messed up on the pink slip so i have to find him and have him sign an error statment. Then they said,"Call this number for driver safety". So i call and find out that they got some wrong info on medical records so now i have to get a doctors form and signature stating that I am healthy ebough to drive. Then they only gave me a week to get this all done. now if a week passes....I gotta do it all over again. Now i called the doctors office to find out that i cant get an appt. until late sept. 2006. It is now Aug.1st. Now the worst thing is that I dont have medical Insurance to cover all this so its all cash. Well, to make things worse. Im paying auto insurance on a car that i cant drive which I had to get proof of until 2008. I cant get a job without a car, no car without these appointments, no appointments without benefits, you get it. I wish there was something I can do to fight back at all this unessesary bull. I honestly feel like someones messing with me.

Well, I'm 17 now and I finally decided to go give the permit test another chance after not passing it two previous times. I passed it this time around and found out right after I got home and found out that it would expire in september of the date that I first took the test. Great I can have my permit for a month and then I have to take the test again. After thinking about it I decided I will drive without a license and stick it to the man.

I also hate the DMV. I am a Virginia resident that attends college in Atlanta, Georgia. I also need to attend a driver improvement class if I don't want my license suspended. My parents are coming down next week to pick me up so that I can attend the class. However, they will not do so until Monday (dad's a pastor). Monday is the day my license will get suspended! I tried to have the suspension date changed to Tuesday, but my request was denied. The rep then told me if I attended school in the state of Alabama I would have been fine. I'M IN ATLANTA!!!! ALABAMA IS PRETTY MUCH RIGHT NEXT DOOR! WTF!!!!!! I'M NOT EVEN CONSIDERING I AM GOING BACK TO VA ON THE DAY MY LICENSE IS SUSPENDED TO ATTEND THE IMPROVEMENT CLASS!!!!!

A story out of Birmingham, Alabama. Today was my seventh visit for my drivers permit - unsuccessful. Worst part of it is that I failed just twice, that was when I actually took the tests. Rest of the times its just inefficiency of the worthless employees. There are four tables for pre-processing the applicants before the test and on any given day only two of them are manned. What the heck are the rest for? The department is overstaffed - you see people in their blue uniforms walking all over the building, but nobody seems to be working. They process like 20-30 applicants max in the entire day. The clerks take forever to enter your records, they will ask for the same document 10 times over, they keep on eating stuff even though a sign in their very office says "No food or drink beyond this point".
Shit, no wonder people hate Alabama.
